Hyperscale Capacity

Our data center infrastructure is purpose-built for AI and high-performance computing. The facility features 100% uninterruptible power supply with an 862 MWh Tesla Megapack battery system providing millisecond response times, backed by 330 MW of natural gas generation for extended redundancy.

The 950,000 square foot facility is designed to support the highest rack densities required for GPU-intensive AI training and inference workloads. High-speed fiber optic connectivity (800 gigabits) ensures low-latency performance for the most demanding applications.

Built for AI

The Imperial Valley Data Center is designed exclusively for advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning operations. Every element—from the Tier 4 power redundancy to the advanced cooling systems—is optimized for continuous, high-density computational workloads.

Our infrastructure supports both training and inference workloads, with the flexibility to scale as AI capabilities evolve. The facility meets the requirements of a Tier 4+ data center with multiple layers of redundancy and no single points of failure.

Infrastructure Expertise

The campus features a dedicated 330 MW substation (230kV S-Line & 92kV R-Line) spanning 16 acres, 132 Caterpillar G3520 EPA-certified generators, and 220 Tesla Megapack 2XL battery units - all developer funded with no cost to local ratepayers.

Direct connection to the SoCalGas pipeline eliminates on-site fuel storage requirements. 100% reclaimed wastewater for cooling means zero impact on regional water resources. This is infrastructure built for the long term.

Operating at the Nexus of Energy and AI

The Imperial Valley Data Center represents a new model for AI infrastructure development—one that delivers hyperscale computing capacity while operating as a responsible partner to the local grid and community.

Under "Non-Firm" service with the Imperial Irrigation District, our facility acts as a grid stabilizer. During peak demand periods, we reduce consumption first to protect homes and essential services. Our 862 MWh battery system helps balance the local grid while ensuring continuous operations.

OUR COMMITMENT

Investing in California's Imperial Valley

We are committed to Imperial County and to creating lasting economic opportunity through high-quality jobs, significant tax revenue, and sustainable operations that benefit the local community.

The closure of the Spreckels Sugar plant removed $243 million annually from the local economy and over 700 jobs. The Imperial Valley Data Center provides an immediate, high-value replacement—anchoring the "Lithium Valley" vision and positioning Imperial County as a hub for clean energy and technology.

Significant Tax Revenue

The project will generate $28.75 million in annual property tax revenue for local schools, fire departments, libraries, and essential services, plus a one-time $72.5 million sales tax contribution during construction—significantly restoring the local tax base following the Spreckels Sugar plant closure.

A Partner for Growth

Our expertise in power infrastructure, energy markets, and data center development makes us a strong partner for navigating the future of AI. We're building infrastructure for the long term - with the operational controls, regulatory compliance, and community commitment that institutional partners expect.
